When you log in, the first screen you see is the Operations Overview — the central hub for your day-to-day courier work. It brings together real-time customer numbers, live package counts, incoming shipment data, and quick-access controls all in one place. Understanding what each section shows helps you stay on top of operations without having to dig through individual modules.

KPI Cards

The four summary cards at the top of the dashboard give you an instant snapshot of the most important operational numbers.

New Customers (Today)

The number of customer accounts created today. The badge is labelled Today so you always know the data applies to the current calendar day.

Customers This Week

Total customers active or registered this week, accompanied by a growth percentage indicator that turns green for positive growth and red for a decline compared with the previous period.

Ready for Collection

Packages that have been processed and are waiting for customers to pick them up. This is one of the most operationally important numbers — watch it to know how busy your front desk will be.

Packages in Transit

A live count of packages currently in transit to your facility. The badge is labelled Live and pulses to indicate the data is actively updated.

Charts

Below the KPI cards, two charts help you spot trends at a glance.

Customer & Package Activity

A combined line-and-bar chart covering the last 30 days. The line tracks new customer sign-ups and the bars track packages processed. Hover over any date to see exact figures for both metrics.

Package Pipeline

A doughnut chart showing the current distribution of all active packages across their pipeline statuses. Each segment represents a different status such as Ready for Collection, In Transit, At Customs, and so on. The delivered segment is excluded so the chart focuses only on packages that still require action.

Recent Customers and Incoming Shipments Tables

The lower section of the dashboard contains two side-by-side tables.
  • Recent Customers — Lists the most recently registered customers with their Customer ID, full name, email, and join date.
  • Incoming Shipments — Shows up to five non-delivered shipments, displaying the flight date, shipment type (Air, Sea, or China), and current status. Shipments marked as delivered are automatically hidden from this list.
The left-hand sidebar organises all backoffice features into five sections. Your role and permissions determine which items are visible to you.
Menu items marked NEW or COMING SOON (such as Backroom and Deliveries) may have limited functionality or be read-only at your organisation’s current version.

Topbar Controls

The horizontal bar running across the top of every page provides global controls you can access from anywhere in the backoffice.

Global Search

The search field in the topbar searches across customers, packages, pre-alerts, shipments, and invoices simultaneously. Use the keyboard shortcut ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to focus the search bar quickly. Results appear in a dropdown as you type.

Add Package

The package icon with a plus badge opens the Receive New Package modal, letting you log an incoming package without leaving your current page.

Broadcast

The megaphone icon opens the Campaign Manager for sending or scheduling broadcast messages.

System Updates

The rocket icon navigates to the System Updates page. A green badge appears on this icon when a new update is available.

Recent Receipts

The printer icon opens a modal showing recently printed receipts for quick reprint access.

Profile Menu

Click your avatar in the top-right corner to access your profile settings or log out of the backoffice.

Refreshing Dashboard Data

The dashboard loads its data automatically when you open it. To manually refresh all KPI cards, charts, and tables:
  1. Locate the circular arrow (refresh) button next to the current date display in the dashboard header.
  2. Click it. The dashboard shows a loading overlay while it fetches fresh data from the server.
If you see a “Network connection error” message instead of data, check your internet connection and click the refresh button once it is restored. Your session is still active.

Error States

If the server cannot be reached or returns an error, a red alert bar appears below the header with the error message. Common causes include a temporary network interruption or an expired session. If your session has expired, the dashboard automatically redirects you to the login page.
